Hello smart people, this will be my first post on NICO and its about my 93 240sx Coupe. It has the head up display and it started off fine when i bought it. it was previously a car that sat in storage for a year or 2, and it started to work for about an hour or so into driving then it would turn off, i'd shut the car off and turned it back on and it displayed again. now, it doesnt turn on at all. i wanted to know if anyone knew of any troubleshooting they've tried with it or if i should try the DIY soldering of a capacitor or whatever it is that needs to be replaced on the unit, or replacing the entire unit. thanks for any help!

Test it by using a hit soldering iron each cap. Heat each one up one by one and which ever one turns it back on is bad. You can also try to wiggle the caps and see if it turns back on. That will lead you in the right direction on what needs to be replaced, whether its a cap, or the white unit. Also take a multimeter and check to, see if it has power going into it.
