Im getting a iPOD like device for holding all of my songs and was wondering if you guys knew any good head units with a audio-in plug in the back of it. Something that would accept the standard earphone style plug, or anything else you would concider suitible.

the jvc kd-sh909 has a headphone input right on the front of the deck... really clean lookin and plenty of functions (reads mp3s, can turn off internal amp, motorized/tilting faceplate, etc.)... that's one of my fav decks for both, looks and functionality for the price...

I dont want a input on the front, i want it on the back. I would run lines down the center consol to the consol compartment i never use. Yah know, all stealth like :)

I hate CD's, I hate wires hanging everywhere, this is going to be hidden and its going to rock, i just need the right headunit. :ylsuper

Most headunits these days come with line level inputs in the back of them, even the really cheap ones. Check on crutchfield.com.
