hey guys, i've got a 95 240sx SE. i've got a new pioneer cd player to put in it. i got one of the stereo kits and wired it all up, matching colors to the new stereo, and it didn't work. the new player works for sure because it was in my talon for 2 months. the stock one is back in it and working fine so i know it's not a power or ground issue, which leaves it all to the wiring in the stereo adaptor. does any one know if this is a common problem? Is there a wire diagram that has the factory plug wire colors so i can double check everything? Any input will be great, Thanks!

Try grounding elsewhere. I had the same problem and grounded on the screws that hold down the shifter boot.

there is not true ground in the harness. try mounting the radio after you wire it. that should provide it a ground and make it start working.

if you have an SE, it should have factory amps that you need to bypass or rip out entirely. . . check this out. . it worked for me . . .
