hey im having some problems with my head unit. it worked but only the front left speaker worked so i decided to fix the wires since they were all messed up. for some reason the guy who owned it before me is using power from the cigarette lighter.

my problem is that there are 2 blue wires, one for 12v+ and one for the speaker. also there are 2 wires that are red with black stripes. there are also a few extra wires and i have no idea what theyre for.

i wired it up just like the guy had wired it before but this time i hooked up the speakers also. now whenever i try to turn the radio on, it shuts right off. WTF?!?!?!?!?!

anyone got an idea??
