Head unit install...nothing working please help

OK i bought a new sony head unit a little while ago and got the wiring harness and wired it up correctly and connected it to the vehicle and nothing happens. It dont turn on or anything. I checked and replaced ALL the fuses and still nothing. I got the deck itself tested and it works. I also fixed up some crappy wiring on the car itself. Oh its a 93 240sx SE. I am totally clueless on how to get this to work. Info is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Apparently not. Did you run a ground wire from the unit to the chassis?

second that... stock ground will not work with most newer decks... i ground mine to one of the shifter bolts fyi
