I tried installing a jvc head unit in my s13 recently. I followed all the guides I found online, and it worked, but it wasn't hooked to a constant 12v source apparantly. I didn't save presets, etc. I went back to mess with it and make that work, but now It doesn't work at all. And my main problem is that all the interior lights (dome light, footwell lights) don't work now. Why would installing a radio affect the interior lights. I'm totally at a loss here, any help would be appreciated.

Sounds like you blew a fuse or two. How did you make your connections? Twist and tape? Solder and heat shrink?

Check the dome fuses and your ground. Worst case, just run a new 12v constant and ign wires to the ignition.
