Hello people good night ! My name is Fabio and I'm from Brazil.
I have a small automotive mechanic shop and bought a Nissan maxima year 1998 VQ30DE 24v engine.
The engine broke the head control chain.
We have little literature regarding this vehicle, and I have doubts regarding the point of the heads.

The point of the virquequin is correct, but as it broke the chain, I do not know how is the correct point of the heads, would anyone know how to inform?

You are working on a VG30DE, I assume, and the timing chain broke - is that correct?

You can obtain the FSM here: nissanservicemanual.com which contains the process for setting the timing correctly.

Was there damage to the valves or pistons?
