heads for sr20de and sr20det are different. they have the same combustion chamber but different cams(sometimes), valves, valve guides, valve seals, etc. the rwd and fwd heads also have a few differences. then there are the highports/lowports, normal/vtc/vvl, and other differences. what specifically are you looking for?

just curious cause i have a silvia with a ca18det and it would be easy to get a head from a ca18de from a pulsar nx so i thought if i wanted to rebuild the head with aftermarket cams n valves and all that good stuff then i could swap out the heads and my car wouldnt be down for ages while i was working on my head. and i thought if i decided to get an sr20det and you could do the same thing with its non turbo equivelent it would make life so easy thats all.

heh, that would make life much easier but im afraid it wont work. i wish it would but we are stuck with the fwd/rwd and na/turbo specific motors. some parts are interchangable but not blocks and heads(without some serious mods).
