Head Swap With Amps Intact!

I swapped out my old Bose head and put in Alpine's IVA-C800 mutilmedia head. I found a signal adapter that works like a charm. I was told that sound would be crappy but it wasn't at all!! It actually sounds better than stock. The new head pumps out 45W per channel -I don't know what the stock spits out. Pretty impressed overall about $50 for the adapter and $16 for the antenna adapter and DIN pocket at Autozone.

the output of the head unit doesnt matter because the bose speakers have their own individual amplifiers.

While on the subject, does anyone know RMS power at how many Ohms on the stock speakers? Just curious.

stock speakers i believe its 1ohm

no one knows the specs, b/c Bose and Clarion refuse to give them - I've tried.

EDIT: Perhaps I shouldn't have said no one, you can measure them, but won't get specs from Bose
