has anyone tried to do a head swap from a 2.0 sr onto an exisisting 1.6 head because i believe from what i saw that an sr didnt have much more hp than stock 1.6 engine

I don't think this would work (the blocks are different, after all) or make much sense. SRs make a bit more hp than a GA for a variety of reasons.

just get yourself a nice sr20ve motor.... it is an awsome motor

ok would u know how much horse it run cause i believe the sr is about 10 to 15 more horse and that is not much for the price of it and all the other stuff u need for swaps

The SR head on a GA isn't gonna work. If you want decent power, a SR with I/H/E & cams will be a nice combo. If you want to get down to business, put a VE head on a SR20DET and get ready to blow a load.
