Head Swap

This maybe listed somewhere, but has anyone tried swapping just the head from a KA24DE to the block of a KA24E. Just a thought and it will be easier than swapping a motor. I traded my cadillac for a 240 and i lost more than i expected to. Yes i plan on going SR20DET, but for know i would at least like the duel cam version of the KA. A turbo KA is a option as well, and it will be easier to source parts for than a SR. Does anyone think this is possible. If not and i have to replace the engine i might as well build the KA24DE and turbo charge it before dropping it in, and there goes the SR option out the window.

The DOHC head can bolt to the E block but it'll need a few other parts. I'll move this to the KA boards where there is more support for this type of mod.
