I'm going to have my head resurfaced friday for the second time ever, and I am curious what kind of luck you guys have had with multiple resurfacing. I know the FSM states 0.2 mm of material removal from both the block and the head total, unfortunately i have no idea how much was taken off the last time.

I am not doing it for warping but mainly for surface finish, so hopefully they don't need to remove much at all. Also anyone know about the clearances, is this 0.2mm number from nissan on the conservative or dangerous side of things?

I removed 15 thou from my head total against the advice of the machine shop if it makes you feel any better.

.2mm is A LOT off of the head/block. They normally just take a couple thousands if they are just cleaning it up.
