Head Rebuild Problem

I Bought A Head Of EBay(Broke 3 valves in mine) and the cam caps were not on, and all the shims were in a bag together with the rockers and lifters, so there is no order to anything, how should i go about putting it back together? i have my other head with the cam caps in order but not my rockers and shims/guides aren't.... didn't read carefully enough. i know... learning from my own mistakes.. but can someone guide me on what to do? can i use my in order cam caps? oh yea i have new (installed but never run) HKS step 2 264 cams, and best 8 rockers of the 16 i have? are all the stock shims and guides the same, other than wear and tear? all and any information is greatly appreciated!
