ok so after getting the head back from the shop we slapped it on the block, havent started it yet but i did a compression test out of curiosity. numbers were 90 90 90 90, seems kinda low. im guessing that they should go up after a few minutes of running. new head gasket(factory replacement) and yes everything was torqued to spec, this is my ka24de that ive worked on so im kinda scared.

so the question is will the compression go up after running or did i mess up somewhere? just kinda want a heads up before starting it.

Should go up once it's warmed up.Also should rise again once it's broken in correctly.

ok just to clarify , my roommate bent a valve trying to do a cam swap . now we did absolutely nothing to the pistons rods rings , the only thing touched was the head. so if your prediction only applies to the head than great :D please clarify
