Car: 1995 Nissan pickup truck

1995 Nissan pickup truck left headlight won't work and the dash high beam light won't turn off when i turn on the headlights. the right one is fine! but if i take the left head light out the dash high beam light turns off and everything is fine but can't drive with one head light. it wasn't working before and yesterday everything was fine but today it not working!?!?! :wtf2:
