head light problem

just got done cleaning the inside of my s13 1991. went to go out tonight , to find out that both head lights are out and so are the front side markers. i checked all fuses and they seem ok. i didn't mess with anywires that i know of while cleaning. any other ideas beside buying new lights? thanks guys.

don't see how it could be all those bulbs going bad at once. has to be a fuse or switch or maybe a relay.

when i twist the switch i hear it click. i put in new lights and the fuse seems fine. any other ideas? this sucks. try to make the car look good inside and look what happens.

i'm thinking its the headlight switch (common problem).but i'm not sure about the sidemarker problem

well i found the problem. user error. found out that my brights don't work. regular head lights do. so since my brights don't work, how do i fix that? relay switch. a fuse? or cars f@*ked? thanks for the response.

what has been done to the wiring on the car first of all?

only wiring i've done is stereo. and since were talking wiring. my center console where all my ac buttons are doesn't work, never has. but when i first got the car the brights worked. other than that i have not messed with any stock wires. oh i also have an alarm installed.

probably the switch. i fixed headlight switch on another car once. the regular and bright have separate wires from switch.
