First I'd like to start by saying yes i have checked the bulb and swapped the bulbs and it doesnt change the problem.
I recently bought a 1991 JDM 300zx TT. it has HID lights installed if that makes a difference im not sure. all the lights on the right side of the car works fine but on the left side my HID wont turn on, the low beam comes on slowly and the high beam also wont turn on. as far as the HID's go ive swapped the bulbs and the ballasts and the problem stays the same ive inspected the switch and dont see an corrosion or anything the fuse in the relay box marked H/lamp LH (15A) keeps blowing so i assume that is closely connected to the problem. i Appreciate any advice you can offer!
Thanks
Gordon

Probably a crappy HID kit like many. Replace with OEM bulbs and see if the problem stops.

Either way closely check the wiring on the OEM and after market setup.

Thanks paul wall ill give the OEM bulbs a try but as far as wiring goes everything looks proper and i fallowed the wiring diagram from the 15A fuse in the relay box back to a green 30A fuse in that skinny little box next to the strut tower and it wasn't blown i dont know if that helps anyone locate the problem any better.
