I really want to black out my headlights but i am affraid I am going to melt the Plasic housing. So I was thinking that if anyone knows a plastic or fiberglass fabricator, couldnt they just make a replacement housing. All they would need is to make a mold and then they can stamp them out by the hundreds. Even if you are unlucky enough have the hard silicone and your housing melted, you could just cut the housing off and replace it with a new housing. Plus it should be relitivly in expensive Maybe even replace it with a housing that has been retro fitted to fit Projection lights. It may seem like a dumb idea, but instead of trying to get all these light companys to help us out with our lighting problem, maybe we can try and find some plasic fabricators to help us out. plus they could make a killing off it.

You know whats required... go hit the streets...

I personally dont think this could get off the ground anytime soon, some people have contacted manufacturers with no good results...

TRY first... itd be a much cooler thread if you said..

"ok so i found someone who will fabricate our headlights"

I plan on hitting the streets soon. I have allready located a number of fabrication shops around where I live and I will be in L.A. the next 2 weeks so I will take a look out there to. I just need to get off work long enough to go viset them.
