head gernal bolt broke

ok heres two pics to see how far the bolt broke and if you look on the broken ones thats how many threds are gone now +1-2 more. if i can extract that screw is there enough threds left to just use another bolt, it is only torq to 8 pounds so i dont know? this ****ing sucks

what's that for? one of the cam towers? well you can try using a pretty sharp pointed punch and try using a small hammer to try to tap it at the outer edge of the bolt to try to spin it out. just be careful and try to find a point where it's actually higher than another place to try to give the point something to push on...dunno if that's really clear or not...

Try the chisel and hammer method, usually when something like this happens the remainder of the bolt threads spin out semi-easily. If this doesnt work try an easy out (reversed tapered bit). If these methods fail, i would suggest bringing the head to a machine shop and have them take it from there.
