head gasket with timing chain.?

i put a new head gasket and timing chain on car after it has been sitting for almost a year.. i went to start it after i was done and it turns and doesnt start.. now i checked the timing chain 3 times to make sure it was right before i put the front cover on.. used 240 tech. to do it .. now it does have gas that has been in car for 8-9mnths and it is bad. i have checked all the wires and the distributor timing and it all seems to be right on what i have read.. any suggestions?

if u know the fiel went bad while it was in the car then its more then likely a fuel issue.

check for spark etc etc and if all else fails start pullin it apart and cleaning it out.
