okay so my sr overheated and now i blew a h.g. if i don't have to over bore what company sells a stock bore mls gasket? i saw that apex'i does but damn the ish is expensive. i'm in the cometic budget range. i guess i could always ask them.

OEM gaskets are good gaskets. Unless your going nuts, or have issues stick to OEM.

Some people swear by cometic, others have horror stories.

okay so i drove the car around the last couple days and no smoke?? i'm wondering when i cleaned the iacv the was some cleaner settled in the lower intake plenum and it was just burning off?

Check compression,

Drain, and inspect oil and coolant for inner mix,

Refill and bleed.
