Head Gasket details how to do it

I need to put a head gasket on my 240 and I thought it would be wise to replace the timing chain and water pump while Im in there. I need lots of help with detailed instruction. Your help is greatlly appreciated. thanks Ron

I dont have the details for you but rather a VERY helpful hint..

Set aside a ton of ziplock baggies and label each of the for where bolts and stuff came from so you dont lose them and know where all of them ago...Also tape up wires and plugs and label them so you know where they go.

I did the baggy thing but didnt label wires and plugs and now im in week 3 of my rebuild...

the plugs are easy, just unfold the wiring harness and it will have a tendancy to lay where its supposed to, and the plugs will sit very near to where they are supposed to be. Do keep where the bolts are, some of them are easy to mess up, and some are very specific in length

Do a search on the nissan online forum, lots of info. A couple of warnings, ( I have done the timing chain in Sohc and Dohc) Set aside plenty of time, dont rush yourself and get assistance if is your first time doing this.....
