Whats max boost can the factory head gasket and bolts handle?

they hold exactly 45.6598 psi. Exactly right on the dot.JK, it just depends. My head has been lifting at boost levels past 20 psi(stock headgasket and stock headbolts). It caused me to pop a headgasket around number 4 cylinder and thats not from detonating for sure.I am now upgrading to ARP head studs which dont strecth and to a Cometic HP gasket (metal shim type).I say you can run up to 20-25 psi without popping them that often. Some people go through a few headgaskets if that stay in that boost range alot but it all depends on every car's setup(rebuilt motors with previous stock headbolts, etc)I would say if you are not going for 400 hp, leave them as is.

he is using a Z31 T3 so I don't think 400 hp is in the cards.
