I'm replacing the head gasket and studs on my SR. Can anyone tell me if there's a certain installed height of the studs, what the torque is and what sequence. I'm on dial-up so d/l an fsm is out of the question for now... TIA!

are these APR head studs?

Just install the studs in the block by hand then torque the nuts to 75 ~80 ftlb. But do that in 20 lb increments but go in the same order as the stock head bolts. Inside out.

Yes, new ARP studs and cometic metal gasket.

So, 75-80 ft. lbs., inside out, 20 lb increments...is that a torque for the studs, or toquing the studs while installing the nuts/head? Thanks
