head bolt torque specs

hey can someone give me the correct torque specs for the head bolts ? ive searched but couldnt find anything. The fsm says something about 4t, 7t, and 9t. I wasnt sure what that was. thanks

look at the FSM closer! it tell u foot pounds in the brackets!

You are supposed to tighten them in 3 stages....

you tighten them in 2 stages. 29Nm then 103Nm

is it the same for ARP headstuds. can someone post a diagram, last time i had my headgasket done, and im going to attempt it myself this time.

your ARP's should have come with a sheet on how to install the studs. which stud kit did you get (part number 202-????) ?

I just got new oem ones from nissan. Can someone take the time and explain each step and how much to torque it for every step. Sorry for all the trouble but its kinda important. thanks

thats strange then, my ARPs just came with a bag of studs, a bag of nuts and a bag of washers in an ARP box

...the sticker on the box also said it was an SR kit, but they all fit just fine
