Car: 92 hatch soon with a vh45 heartbeat

The car was in an accident. I fixed it up. Now won't run, starts up and immediately dies within a second. I unplugged the MAF and it starts and runs perfectly. Got new MAF and plugged it in and still won't run. Unplug new MAF and it runs fine. With the MAF plugged in and spraying gas into the intake the car would run until it burned off the gas and would then die. So for some reason the injectors won't run in non-limp mode. So its either the MAF harness or the computer. There is absolutely no check engine light. How do I check the MAF harness or make sure the car has the right computer in it. The car is a 90 2+2 coupe. I bought it from a guy who owns a 91 turbo Z. I called him the other day and he said his won't start either. I asked if he switched anything and he said no. Do you think he switched computers. But, please how do I check the harness with a multi-tester. PLease help this is the 3rd or 4th post I've made about this on here in the last year.

Man that sucks! The z32 can be hard to work on at times. I doubt that he would have swithed ECU's from a N/A to a turbo Z. I'll see if Dave or Rich can you help out they know more about Z cars then I will ever learn.

sorry I can't be of any help here, I'd get the FSM and start reading a testing? It would help if you determined what isn't running when the maf is plugged in, is it not getting spark or fuel? if it's lacking fuel it could be a bad maf also the maf could have been jarred and damaged in the accident, they have a very delicate eliment that could have gone bad?

I put a brand new MAF on and nothing. I know the injectors aren't firing because I spray gas in the intake and the car runs until its all burned off.

ok, now that we know it's a fuel issue we need to know what part fo the fuel system isn't working and why, is the fuel pump coming on? is there pressure in the fuel rails? are the injectors geting the signal to open? listen carefully to the gas tank as the key gets switched to the run position does it click on? if not check for voltage at the pump, if the pump is working find out if your getting the trigger pulse to the injectors when cranking, you can use a smartprobe or an analog multimeter or an injector test lead

I know this kinda sounds stupid but I noticed the difference in it Right away I would put my car on it so i mean its all up to you but yeh
