Wow, beats the hell out of my CyberShot. lol

Hey Shifter, you still at Elmendorf? I was just up there last year and got lost out on Ft Richardson. LoL Looking to move up there later this year, or maybe next year if I can't find good work here in FL.

No.ISO is your sensitivity.I think EV stands for exposure value (most likely wrong though)If you wanna try shooting at different ISO, that might work?

Why can't I find those settings on my Sony Cybershot?

Looks good man. If I get up there in June, I'll try to look you up. I'll most likely be staying in Wasilla, looking for work, and a place to stay.

Keep up the good shots. I bet you could get some killer ones up on that mountain/hill overlooking AK. Something rock? Can't remember.

If you don't have settings on your camera, just make a duplicate of the picture you want to edit, then upload them both to photomatix and it'll work

Thank you, sir! Photography is my passion, right after my car

Email sent.

If you can, send me a picture back of your computer with it as your desktop. Sounds dumb, but I have a collection of these with people using my photography as their backgrounds

Yes it is, thank you for the compliments!

Photography is great to get into, I love it... and I love making money from it

The pictures I posted were all shot with a Canon Digital Rebel XS, It's a nice entry level camera that's pretty simple to navigate. And it takes some impressive pictures! I'd definitely recommend it to anyone getting into photography.

I would say just go get a real nice camera as your first one, they all have auto modes you can do some learning with. It's really easy to learn how to use a camera though. Just read the manual and you'll learn pretty quick. I bought a good learners camera but it doesn't produce good pictures in low light or indoors, now i'm looking at the Cannon Rebel it's going to be a nice upgrade.

Nikon D5000I'm thinking of getting one.(Not much of a Canon fan, but they're really nice too. Especially the higher end ones like the 1D and 7D)Only problem I have D-SLR's is how hard they are to use haha.My Nikon N50's so easy, and I use manual all the time on it,but I picked up my friend's D40 and I'm like, "Wow, how do I use this?"Photography's really just a learning experience though; a lot of trial & error.I plan on taking a digital media course at a university in Colorado, making photography and drifting my whole life, basically.

Another big factor when picking a camera is whether or not it shoots in HD,and the image stabilization.

Yah I have a Nikon coolpix P90. It's pretty decent with 12 megapixels and 24x zoom, but it just won't perform certain tasks.

It has exposure compensation on it.That's what you need, so it should work.(The black/white +/- button)

I know right??

Believe it or not, it was damn near mint when I got it. A series of sad/stupid mistakes happened and you get what you see now. It's ok though, she'll be good in about 6 months time I hope
