has anybody ever retrofitted the cruise control and intermittent wipers from a pathfinder into their HB. i spend a LOT of time on the road in my '91 HB and those are the two things i find myself missing the most.

i have spent a good bit of time at pull a part studying the pathy's and i think it can work no problem. i just don't know exactly what i need to grab off of the donor pathy. any help would be appreciated

I looked at INT wipers but mine is missing the wiring for the relay or booster on the wiper motor. Not sure what it is called, but it has wires to the motor are not in my harness, so I am not sure how easy retro will do. they sell a INT wiper at JC Whitney for like 25 bucks that should do I am thinking of getting it, also the cruise would need to have the wiring, not sure if the trucks without it have it. To me that seems to be the sticking point, would need to look at a wiring schematic to be 100% sure what all is needed.

the nissan SERVICE manual is best bet. That is the manual the dealers mechanics use, but they are not cheap. maybe if the local nissan dealer is cool he can let you look at one the shop has.

I fitted my 90 with tilt steering - couldn't see the speedo over the wheel.I added cruise control from a pathfinder - I'm on the highway too.I also added intermitant wiper control - this one was a little tougher as a blue wire changes position and required some figuring out.

My nearest Nissan dealer is a sweetheart for loaning me the look of their books and making free photocopies.

well, for the wipers, I would grab the whole column that had both wipers and cruise, the intermittent wiper switch, brown box on the pass. firewall in the engine compartment including the wiring to it (at least the connector), and possibly the motor.

for the CC, activation switch on the dash, module under dr. seat, servo on the pass. firewall, throttle linkage as well as the connector on the t-body, vacuum lines, wiring connectors, the more you grab the easier it will be to install. thats all I can think of off the top of my head. if you look at a pathy FSM it will tell you all the pieces for sure.

hope this helps. I know there is a forum that has older FSMs but cant think of it. I want to say its a frontier forum.
