Hi guys,I'm a new member on this sight. I was wondering, Iwill soon take my 04 g35 coupe out of hybernation. There is a haze on the front headlights, what would be the best way to remove it without scratching them.

Thanks

Or maybe 'Mirror Glaze'.

Now what is the haze caused from? Make sure you are carefull in its removal so you remove whatever the haze is without scratching the lights.

The haze in my view is caused by the enviornment ( sun, rain, pollution ). If I use my fingernail hard enough it will come off but I was looking for a soft product that wouldn't scratch the lamp cover.

Thanks guys, I appreciate all your imputs.

can't go wrong with this! Really, any plastic cleaner will work...9/10 it's on the outside of the cover.

I mention this since it is possible for the 'haze' to be abrasive. So regardless of what product you use you can scratch the lights with the 'haze' itself. Once removed, even very gently and the 'haze' may have been a little corrosive which may require some additional polishing.

This brings up the topic of the 'invisible bra' on my car. While I not 100% satisfied with it, the one place that seems to benefits is its application on the headlights. That is if their removal doesn't leave behind some nasties of theirs. If the lights have a coat of 'haze' on them, then remove the 'invisible bra' off the lights and replace it. The car was fairly expensive to do, but the kit for just the lights is fairly cheap and unlike on various parts of the car very invisible on the lights. Maybe worth looking into since it already nailed you once.

I purchase a bottle of kit SCRATCH OUT awhile back to try on my 300 m headlights since right on the bottle is advertised 'Clears Yellowed and Scratch Headlight!' As far as the headlights it seems to make them better. This morning I tried them on another problem I have a couple of acrylic cubes that had paint on them. I was able to easily polish off the paint and the result was it also removed scratches from the cubes as well. Maybe something to consider since it seemed to liquify the paint.
