I was wondering if any of the rear multi-link was interchangable?

The traction rods holds the rear wheels in position relative to the chassis during acceleration and deceleration. Solid bearings and tubular construction reduces play/movement in this critical link. For best performance should be used with solid bearing spindle bushing and reinforced subframe.

Note: Adjustment of the rear traction rods together with the rear tie rods (twin-turbo models) or rear toe arm (non-turbo models) can also alter the geometry between the two two arms to reduce rear bump-steer. This should be setup by a race alignment shop.

Note: Hicas must be disabled.

Construction:

Chrome plated chromolly tubing

16mm 2-piece teflon lined rod end ~8,400lb static load rating

Yes, all of that will work.. I hvae heard some bad things about the SPL tie rod ends... not really sure why youd want to "upgrade" tie rods??? Only for extremely lowered vehicles.....

So your saying all the rear stuff is interchangable...

As for the lower cars only being one that might need it my car is so adjustable I want to go all the way..

I think it would be nice nice to see chrome under the back and front while its raised.

Yeah it should all work... the traction rods are basically like tension rods for the front, hoesntly id maybe wait on those.. Dont do those right away.. DEFINITELY get the subframe spacers though, youll love em!

Will do on the spacers...

Maybe this is a better question:

Is there anything on SPL Parts pages for the Front and Rear Multi-link that wont go on the Q45\Q45a?

China- hehe what a small world I guess U do wanna get a Q45 :P

On a side note- those tie rods are good for cars that are really low. To avoid bump steer. What happens is as the wheel goes up and down it runs out of "pivot" action at the tie rod ball socket and it will cause whats called bump steer. Its hard to explain, but pick up a (June or July) issue of Sport Compact Car where they talk bout suspension geometry.

So what doesn't fit from SPLs site ? I wouldn't mind getting alot of those parts to repleace my worn out stuff.

You really dont need those tie rods unless you have a slammed car. as long as you have a good alignment (run extra caster) you wont need to worry about bump stop. I have a 2in drop and bump stop is a non issue..

Really, everything will fit for the multilink.... I wouldnt mess with the front and rear LOWER control arms, personally... Just stick with the upper links, tension rods, rear control arms, traction rods (if you REALLY want to, not really sure if youd notice much)..

Honestly for the rear id just get some poly bushings or something and keep the stock things... the toe rods might be nice to tweak your rear toe, i dont worry about that since i have a HICAS car....

Dont go crazy on the rear, make sure you can adjust your toe into spec and camber to where you want it, and other than that to make it feel nice just get the poly bushings in..... The control arms and subframe spacers are a GREAT start for the rear....
