Thank you everyone for your opinions, feedbacks and suggestions. You all confirmed what I had concluded, one hell of a not! The more I looked at the picture, the more stupid they looked.

So I will be leaving it the stock black vinyl pillars.

Yea, as I sit here looking at the pic, the more i really dislike it.. alot!

Since I bought the car, I have always wanted to remove the fugly pinstripe too. I hear it is a REAL PITA. Anyone have any tips on getting that stuff off?

x2...some chrome touches are nice, but IMO that stands out. Not sure why car companies don't give us the option for painted pillars like that. I suppose you could always factory match paint an overlay.

It probably is already painted the same as the door underneath the black vinyl. I don't think it would look any better than the chrome though. I like how the black blends in with the quarter windows.

Unlike the masses here, I actually like chrome... chrome wheels and some chrome accents in the engine bay i am particular fond of...

BUT I AM 100% AGAINST THESE AND THOSE FUGLY CHROME DOOR HANDLES

Ok, so I am thinging of ideas to dress up my rig. I am going for classy/sporty look. Nothing really radical. Just some nice accents. I found the chrome pillar plates that looked pretty nice on the demo photo (same color as mine). I just used 2 sided paper tape to hold it on there for a sec to see what it would look like so I can take them off without having to ruin the piece and waiste the 3M auto tape they come on.

I cannot decide if I like them. They look a little out of place now... but if I decide to keep them I will add chrome door handles. I am also going to put on some chrome 18's (soon I hope) which is what the demo photo had, the wheels and door handles that is.

So what do you all think, Hawt, or nawt?

Yea, I decided I really dont like them. However I am with Doc, I do like some chrome here and there if taistfuly done, just not these. I am just going to leave them the flat black vinyl.

lol my bro was checking the site and he saw one of your thread with all the screens and the chrome grille and wheels and first thing he said was "man I saw a really riced up coupe on your forum with chrome and screens everywhere in the trunk and even on the engine! EPIC FAIL"
