Hawk HPS

I got my new Hawk HPS pads today for my z32's, aren't they supposed to have shims glued to the back? mine seem to be missing them.

i dont think so. at least mine dont have one.

all the hawk pads i've bought and my friends always had shims with greem

writing in the back(nissan, toyota, and acura), but never bought any for z32's so

i really dont know. i heard those shims only purpose was for noise reduction or

something, just put some brake quiet and i think you'll be fine.

i never use that stuff ( the shim or the brake quite glue thing ... ) i just put int he pads and that was it ... never have any problem.
