OK so i might be moving to Hawaii next year and im wondering if its worth shipping my car to Hawaii or if i should sell it or possibly put it in storage. How common are S13 coupes in Hawaii and how is the law about modded cars there? my car is a 92 240sx SE coupe and as it sits right now is lowered on tein ha coilovers, Elite 17x9 +15 offset, and Isis single Gt exhaust. I live in South Carolina and we have no inspections and if Hawaii does smog and all that i dont know if it would pass or not cause it does burn a little oil. I was planning on dropping in a SR20det soon but i dont know if i should if i do end up moving. Any help will be awesome and thanks in advance as well.

It all depends on which island you go to. I'm assuming you are moving to Honolulu......

check this link out and see if you can find something. You will definitely need a Recon sticker(reconstruction inspection sticker). And it is a pain to get them......but what do I know right? I only lived there most of my life....LOL.

good luck....

I just got back from Honolulu, and lemme tell you, the G35s are EVERYWHERE! I saw so many Nissans, it was awesome.

If you are thinking of taking it, do so. You'll find a lot of other Nissan/Infiniti cars there.
