Quick question on the top hat mounts. Are the holes for the bolts supposed to be slotted on one side? Mine isn't slotted and currently it wont line up with the holes, unless I take a hammer to it or something. I was going to dremel one side.

Also, shouldnt the mount move the transmission closer to the passenger side of the tunnel? The only way it even comes close to the holes in the tunnel puts the rear of the transmission closer to the driver side.

I'll go work on vacuum hoses till someone posts.

Maybe someone has pics?

Thanks!

crow bar from inside the car and have someone put them in once you get it into the right spot.

You misunderstood. Even if the tranmission isnt there, there is no way the holes will physically line up with the holes on the car. They are too close together on the mount from left to right. With only the passenger side bolts in, the stick shift is right in the center.

Its also obvious that the passenger side motor mount was not made for a car with hicas. Im going to have to find a way to relocate the rear power steering lines. A/C compressor wants to rest on the power steering lines on the other side.

For the transmission mount I had to bore out 2 of the holes on one side. Man remembering back that was so long ago and I have come so far since.~ANDREW
