Xbox.com has a list of 100% supported routers for the wireless adapter. Check that and make sure yours is on it. It might be as simple as patching your router's firmware.

Yes. BUT it doesn't matter, because wireless is still faster than most peoples' internet connections.

I've been running my Xbox with a wireless adapter since I bought it last June. I've never had any connection issues or slowdown.

Only Thing I Have Had A Problem With Is, When I Try To "Secure" My Wireless Signal From Internet Lechers.

When They Tag On To My Internet, Monster Lag!But When I Secure With Code Thing Forgot The Name(Wep I Think?) My Xbox Could Never Connect Even If I Have The Right Code.

Thinking It Can't Get the DNS By Itself...

Try using MAC filtering instead you basicaly setup a list of MAC addresses that are allowed to connect to your internet and all others are blocked.

You might also want to try using a different type of encryption. My roommate's laptop is a POS and doesn't like WEP for some reason. However, it works fine with WPA. My Xbox wireless adaptor is currently working fine with WPA.

The big downside of WPA for me is that the DS isn't compatible with it (Wii is, though, fortunately). Couple that with the fact that I've never been able to get the Nintendo Wifi Adaptor USB dongle to work properly, I no longer have any online capability with my DS.

I use a 2Wire Wireless Modem/Router Combo. Works fine with my 360 and PSP.
