i tried changing the left brake light on my versa but the light assembly wont budge!

i removed the two screws and popped the white tab at the long end of the light

i know youre suppose to apply some force to remove it, but its not coming out.

any advice??

im planning on taking it to the dealer and change it under the warranty

i had this problem too... you just gotta use a LOT of muscle, try a panel popper as well (be extremely careful not to scratch the paint)... i took it up to the dealer and they said that the clips just sometimes stick... so just keep working at it, if you go to the dealer, they should help you get it off... once its off, its much easier to do again at a later time.

you gotta push towards the rear of the car... if it doesnt work.. try wiggling the tail light assembly up and down.. but dont go crazy with that.. u dont wanna brake the clips... they are dammm expensive.

tip: push from the tip of the tail light.. that's where the tight clip is..
