having trouble takin my flywheel and crank pulley off?

i cant manage to do it without it spinning....is there a easy way to do it? how does everyone else get theirs off?

wow uh to take the crank pulley off u can put the car in gear and engage the brakes for the flywheel jam a crowbar on one of the teeth ..kinda commonsense....

Use an Impact wrench. Proper sizes socket + 1/2 " impact = easy job. ONLY USE IT FOR REMOVAL. DO NOT use it when you install or bad things will happen.

We have a $90 battery operated unit from Pep Boys (says Goodyear on it) and we use the crud out of it, both at the track and at home. Well worth the money.
