Hey everyone. My cousin owns a 2004 Pathfinder Armada. Recently he has been having trouble starting up his car. He changed the battery, got it tested, tested the starter, and even replaced the terminals. When we were at Napa, the counter guy told us to check the starter relay. We popped the fuse boxes in the bay and looked for the starter relay, but couldn't find anything. Anyone want to point me in the right direction, so I can test it with a multimeter? I've tried searching the FSM, but couldn't really find anything. :gotme Any help will be appreciated!

If I'm reading the wiring diagram on SC-11 correctly, it looks like the starter relay is within the transmission control module.

Is the "SECURITY" light flashing or solid after a failed start?

Hello all. I thought for sure there would be no hope for my starting problem but maybe my problem will be solved by one of you. I bought my 07 last fall and randomly it will not start. If you turn it over and turn it off 3-4 times it will then start. I cant find a pattern tied to weather or any driver. My mechanic drove it all day and can't find anything wrong, when I went to pick it up......it didn't start. I have put my diagnostic tool on it right when it wouldn't start one time and it is not throwing any codes. My wife is not amussed and wants it fixed! Thanks for listening.

It might be helpful if you describe exactly what it is doing. Is the starter motor engaging? Does it just click? Does it click rapidly?
