Having trouble seeing through your tinted rear window at night?

Freakin' bright as anything! When they're unlit, there's a slight blueness in your reverse light housing but not as much as you would expect, so if you buy them for that purpose alone, you'll be a little disappointed. But man are they bright.

Yeah, I had bulbs like that when I installed Altezza tail lamps in a '97 Mirage I used to own. Bright when lit, and blueish tint to housing when unlit.

You could probably just buy those at shops like AutoZone, PepBoys, Napa Autostore, etc. And probably for a little cheaper too. If you're in Canada, I'm sure there are similar stores.

Nah, I was in advance auto the other day, and autozone a month or two ago, and they don't carry anymore silverstars other than headlights.

I'll be checking the local stores for these. When I'm backing up I swear my taillights are brighter than my backup lights. In their current state there's no real point to me having them, except to let other drivers know I'm backing up.

I'll report back after I visit Canadian Tire/Partsource and NAPA. If I can't find them then I'll just have to buy 'em online.

Just do what I did, install 12LED lamps, a nav deck ad backup camera, problem solved!

What bulb number did you buy for your car? What would I need for a 2001

For QX4s with the reverse light by the liscence plate, a 921 bulb is needed. I'm not sure about Qs older than 2001, or about pathfinders. Longhorns, you and I have the same vehicle so you would need the exact bulb in the link I posted. I'll get the pics up sometime today, and try to get better night pics.

Nope, I took them off. That would be dirt you see in the pics. I went wheeling the day before and hadn't washed yet.
