Seriously, it works. Here is the deal. I just finished replacing the fuel filter on my Q... what a pain in the ***. Not only was it impossible to get the stupid hoses off the filter, it was damn near impossible to get the new hose on to the filter.

Every time I would try to slide the hose over the nosel it would get stuck about 1/4 of the way on. I didn't want to put vaseline or anything that might remain on the hose long term on the nosel in order to slide it on. So, what do I generally do when I have trouble fitting my hose... I thought for a long moment... well, I spit on it of course!

Ok, I'm a liar. I've never had trouble fitting my hose anywhere...but, nonetheless, a little saliva and the hoses slid right on there.

Well, that's always worked for my 'hose'.If there was an issue getting it 'in', I'd just spit on it, or get her to do it, and it'd work like a charm.

Slob on my knob, like corn on the cob LOL.

Eh, if it don't fit, push harder mang. as long as you don't hurt yourself it's cool LOL of course, there will be protesting, crying, noises that need to be muffled with a pillow. But I guess that's what earplugs are for eh?
