Having Trouble getting Rack out

Hey I need some help getting the Rack and Pinion out. I got everything disconnected except I can`t get the linkage from the steering wheel disconnected I don`t have enough room to pull it all the way off. Do I have to remove the steering wheel to get it out? If so how? I have checked the FSM but it does not tell me how to get the linkage disconnected from the gearbox.

go inside the car and follow the steering colum down to the floor. there is a linkage that you have to take apart, believe it's a 12mm bolt. once that's off you can pull the rack down from the bottom.

Thanks,I all ready took that bolt off and after I sent my message I got a little aggresive with it and used a hammer and a extension she came right off with a few taps of the hammer. I can`t wait to put in my new Rack and outer tie rods. The suspension on this car has been messed up since I bought the car a year and a half ago. Replaced the springs and struts just a few months ago because some idiot heated up the springs to lower the car. I took the car to alignment shop and he told me only problem I had left was the rack and rods. I all ways read how everyone likes the way these cars handle but I got to tell I don`t know what that is like yet.
