having trouble finding rims...

im trying to locate some tire company that makes 16"/17" rims that are black with a red lip...nothing fancy or crazy lookn just the simple spoked design...where could i go for something like this?

doesnt really matter, they're ADVANs :p

enkie also makes some, the rp01 jap spec came as black with blue or red lip.-chet

17'' advans could be 30 pounds and people would still buy them. So hot.... want to touch the hinnie.... owwwwwwwooooo

This sounds bad but...Find the wheel style you like. Not chrome or polished.Take it to a reputable paint shop with no tires mounted.Have them paint the wheels to your desires.Paint won't add hardly any weight and the finish should last as long its done correctly.

powder coating is cheap and durrable, I was last quoted at $200 for 4 wheels one color.

Really? Say i wanted to powder coat my silver rims' lip like a hyperblack color. Would that look good? Is it possible?

I cound't get on any sooner my internet connect just wouldn't let me on nico.

wheels come painted most of the time from their manufactures.

To powder coat I believe they have to be stripped back to bare metal which most powder coating shops include with their price. I believe theres also a clear coat of powder coating.

i was thinking about gettin the rota circuits 8. get the hyper black with polished lip..and then just have teh lip changed to red--what do you guys think..??
