having the worst time turning the crank, head gasket repair in progress

both cams are outupper double timing chain is offi cant get the main crank to turn

rb motors dont have timing chains they have belts....if you cant turn the crank then either the pistons are seized or the bearings are farked...

also i don't see a mark for the lower timing mark

yep they r outim past that now

new problemi know the 10 head bolt need 10mm allen/ hex key wrench to get offbutwhat about the 2 other bolts in the midddle (looks like u could use a 3/8 drive extension to pull it off...

sounds like water jacket stuff. if it is then no need to take out.

that is very true. im an idiot. im learning though.

i have a problem now, after we just pulled the gasket:with the head proper up off the block, i go to pull the gasket out and i see one spacer sitting on top of the gasket about half way back on the exhaust side, there is also another one still kinda in place, BUTupon further examination, it seems like there should be three spacers being usedthere are clearly three holes only on the exhaust side of the gasket where a spacer of this size would fit in perfectly

does anyone know how many spacers are used in a ka24de?
