My Q45 is acting wierd lately. The car runs good but after 10-20 minutes the car idles goes up and down, the car jerks and something rattles underneath. Also when im driving at slow speeds (10-20mph) there is like a gulp sound coming from the engine which I believe might be a clogged injector, and last I have trouble starting the car when its warmed up and parked for 20 to 30 minutes. Can anyone help me out with these problems I was thinking about selling the car instead of fixing it but still not sure.
Thanks! ;)

How many miles are on the chassis/engine?

How long have you had the car? Is it maintained religiously?

How does it feel when you give it the beans? If you have good get-up-and-go, it probably isn't an injector.

I'm going to guess MAF or fuel delivery problems - e.g. a bad fuel pump or it's control module. Do you ever hear a "hive of bees" sound from behind your back seat - especially when the tank is below half full?

Had the car since february of this year also the car just hit 141 k miles. Acceleration is not bad. I do however hear a noise coming from the back seat.By Replacing the control module will this solve the problem?

Is the CEL coming on through any of this? If not, chances are pretty good that there's a fuel delivery problem and that noise you hear coming from the trunk area (the failing fuel pump) has also caused the fuel pump controller to intermittently fail. You're probably going to end up replacing both.

If the CEL is on, or even if it isn't, there's a couple of more simple things to check. As suggested, it could be a MAF issue so clean it with a can of MAF spray, clean the connector of any corrosion and tighten the pins. I'd also ohm test the injectors just to rule it out. It only takes a few minutes when measured at the harness connector. A bottle of Redline S1 fuel injection system cleaner in a 1/2 tank of gas will do wonders also.

With 141k on your engine if you've never replaced the fuel pump it's overdue.
