So i turboed my 240 last night, kinda getto job, but it worked, kinda... for a little while... :( Everything went together okay, car ran fine but only boosted to 2-3-4 psi and it would spool really high arond 4000-4500rpm.. anyways... i tried ****ing with the wastegate, but broke it... then fixed it, and tried things again.. this time to boost... ****ed arond some more... after a while i decided to see if the turbo was still spinning... damn it... it had sized, thats why no boost... so i check to see if the oil feed line was suppling the oil.. yup it was fine... what do you think happend, the turbo seemed to spin freely when i put it in.. why did it not build boost and why did it spool sp high?.. anyways i'll try my other turbo tomorrow..:thinker hope it'll be okay

Where did you get the turbo from? Was it ok before? Did you accidentally hit the propeller shaft or something when working on the wastegate?

Lot's of stuff could have happened. That just sucks man.

how is the oil drain line? clogged drain line will kill a turbo quick. Figure out why this one died before you swap turbos or it will kill the new turbo just as quick.
