I'm not getting oil to the head for some reason. It's causing my timing chain to go crazy and rattle and it's pissing me off. My oil pump was fine before I rebuilt it... I'm not too sure why I'm having the oil pressure problems.

did you put a head gasket in the car? is the oil passege between the head and block clear?

Yea, I put a new head gasket on. I lined both of the head gaskets up to see if they matched up before I put the new one on. They were exact. So, I don't think that's a problem. But if if comes to it...I could check again i guess.

If thats not it. Is it possible you used an over abundant amount of sealer? some of the excess could have gotten in the oil passeges pluging them up.

I found out it's actually just a huge leak, haha. I have no clue where it's coming from though, and I ran out of time to work on it tonight, because of the rain. It's coming from the passenger side of the motor. And it's not coming from the oil pan.....?

hahahahahaha. I didn't have an oil filter on there!! hahaha, nevermind the whole thing.

So...Are my bearings probably destroyed? The car has only run for probably a total of 30 seconds....Could they be toast?

LOL Sorry, but that's pretty funny. We've all done things like that, I'm sure. 30 seconds isn't too long. Kind of like maybe 300-500 cold starts? If you oiled everything up when you assembled it, it'll probably drive fine. Not the best thing in the world for a newly rebuilt engine though. Measure the oil pressure to be sure, and change your oil/filter to get metal shavings out of there.
