having my cake and eating it

I finally got the a/c running in my car! I'm so proud! It was quite a pain considering all the components had been stripped out of the car when I bought it, but now I've got ice cold wind blowing on me. Now EVERYTHING on the car works. I even retrofitted a windshield washer!! This may not seem like much to some of you but my journey to this point has been tough. I think it's quite an accomplishment that I've got a 240sx with an sr swap, a greddy fmic, greddy intake, precision sc61 turbo, and everything in the car works like new. Ok I'm done bragging. (don't worry I'm sure my car will break next week).

planning on getting my ac to work soon too.. what did you have to modify for it to work?? I have a s13..

haha im like the exact opposite. the more stuff i remove from the car, the happier i am! im trying to figure a way out to take all the ac components under the dash, and just keep the heater core.

I had to do some minor modification to the a/c bracket. (I had the problem where only 2 of the holes lined up.) I couldn't even tell you for sure which compressor I've got on there now. I got three different compressors and 2 sets of lines and I just started mixing and matching. I also had both low pressure hoses modified to fit. It was a lot of work but this car is a semi-daily driver so I needed to be comfortable AND fast. Now it is! YAY

hpmachine im actually going to be doing this soon as well and im having problems finding info on it when i use the search button..just wondering if you knew which hoses you have to use..the sr ones i believe right? and how did you modify those to fit? i really wish you knew what compressor you used lol
