So I started installing my Alpine 9884 H/U and PAC SWI-Jack. So far here are the questions I have.

1)The 2007+ Nissan Antenna Plug that comes with the Headunit, has a Blue wire in addition to the plug, Do I need to hook that up or not? If so where to?

2) When I turn on the car, the Subwoofer hits really hard for like 5 seconds then cuts out. It's everytime I turn the Ignition on.

3) Having trouble programming the PAC. I tried to do my best in identifying the pin #'s but not sure if they are right. Could someone tell me the wire colors and which pin they go to? Also, It says tap Pin #15 and ground it, I don't remember doing that with the last PAC install I did.

Please help before I rip this freaking thing out and stomp on it !!

Hahaha ok man it doesn't sound too bad actually.

1) From the install I just did with my new in dash video stuff, the antenna adapter is different from the stock plug in the car. Those three thick wires are the signal, power, and turn-on, I believe. All aftermarket harnesses have a wire for the automatic antenna, so it extends when the unit is turned on, and it's tied into the acc/ amp turn on. Since we dont have automatic antennas because ours are built into the real window, my guess is you don't need the blue wire, only the two black ones. To be honest though, I don't even have that connected yet, I just listen to sirius radio mainly.

2) Somewhere along the wiring, something is crossed or running negative to positive, or some wire is unwittingly touching another. Run each wire from input to output and check, look for stripped wire housing and such. Also, check the remote turn on wire running to the amplifier. Im assuming that your running rca's and not speaker level inputs to the amp, but if your tapped off the speaker wires with a high low converter then the speaker wires somewhere could be crossed as well. Just thoroughly check all connections and wires.

3) I don't have one, but Robert will chime in soon. I'm only robin. Batmans on his way.

Not sure on that model but my Maxima had a green wire off the antenna cable and it is used to power the factory signal amps. Without it, you get no FM nor AM reception. I simply attached the blue antenna output wire from the new HU to it.

Check your grounds and lower your amp input levels

Not sure. Check the FSM for wiring schematics: http://www.nicoclub.com/FSM/Altima/

OK, for the PAC SWi... yes, it is a BIT*H to install!!! I got mine installed on my previous Pioneer, but I couldn't manage to get it installed on my Kenwood. There's no need tp try to check the field service manual, just check the PAC website for Nissan...

One of the problems (I think) is that the resistors are fragile, and if you break one of them internally, it will not work correctly. So, if you conect the wires correctly and it still isn't working.. go to radio shack and pick up some more 1/4 watt 140 ohm and 47 ohm resistors

Ok.... So I got the AMP thing worked out and I didn't hook up the blue wire on the Antenna plug, but I am still having issues with the PAC programming. I go through all the steps perfectly and the when I am setting the buttons on the steering wheel, the PAC Unit is picking them up b/c the LED goes out when I press them, so I am guessing I got the right wires, but still not sure why its not working. When you are done with the "8" indicator on the PAC unit, do you wait 7 seconds for the programming to complete, OR do you have to skip "9" and "0" and then wait 7 seconds for the programming to complete?

So here is the update. The blue wire on the antenna plug gets connected to the blue wire on the Alpine Harness. I gave up on the Steering wheel controls and ended up ripping them out. There goes $60 down the drain. Now I am having one more problem. For some reason, my auto up windows don't work. Any ideas?

Robert and I fought for hours installing the my PAC SWi, then we still couldnt get it to work. I ended up taking my car to work and using aircraft splices, solder, and tools to get it all hooked up right. Once it was all connected firmly, everything worked like a charm! As far as your auto windows not working, Its in the FAQ section. Auto windows stop working once the battery is disconnected. You reset in by rolling the window half way up, now hold down the roll down button and continue to hold it 3 seconds after the window has rolled completely down. Let go. Now hold the window roll up button and roll the window all the way up, continuing to hold the button 3 seconds after it is rolled all the way up. No release the button, it should auto roll up and down. Repeat for opposite side

Just changed my battery and had window issues in my G37S. They rolled down during the battery switch and after the new battery was in, acted funny, including rolling down after turning the car off and exiting the car. Your window fix made everything right as rain. Thanks!
