Hi guys,
Hope someone can help. I just had my ECM rebuilt on my 2001 I30t. Company said it's plug and play upon return. When I re-installed it, it would crank but not turnover. Also the security light comes on when I try. So... I had someone come out to re-program my keys and it wouldn't work. Techs comp kept on saying ECM Disconnected. Tech said to take car to the dealer to have the entire car reset so that the ECM and Onboard comp reset. Is this true or is there some other option?

The security code in the ECM could have been wiped out during rebuild. The security code is stored in the ECM and the NATS sensor (Ignition Switch). If there is a mismatch, the Security LED comes on with Ignition ON and the car will not start. You have to take the car to the dealer for reprogramming. Better bring all the keys that you have.

Thank you for the help. Guess that's my next move. Any idea on how much it might run?

It's @ $100 but Infiniti dealership usually charges more than Nissan. So I suggest you call Nissan dealerships first and ask them for pricing and tell them too, how many keys will be programmed.
