Is it just me or are those (2) bolts behind the caliper difficult to remove?

Yes they are. Make sure you was turning the right way. When I did my rears and front I used PB blast penetrating oil when removing. I used a hammer to tap wrench to loosen as well. Good luck.

I know!!! haha..

I've actually wasted an hour so far trying to make sure I'm turning the right way and I'm still not 100%.

I think I have to use a hammer as well because I'm not putting enough strength into it. What's PB? The brand name? I sprayed wd-40. No luck yet.

Is it easy putting the caliper back on?

I actually went out and bought that PB spray and a rubber hammer. Still having a hard time. I've tried turning the bolt both ways. Correct me if I am wrong though. When you have the wheel off and your facing your caliper, you turn to YOUR right to loosen it correct?

Unscrew counter-clockwise facing the screw unless it's a reverse thread but I doubt there are any in our vehicle.

Out of curiosity guys, what can it be that is causing me to lose break fluid?

Initially I had lost one of the two copper rings that are connected to the brake line which attaches to the caliper. When I drove the car and I seen the pedal was like a sponge, I thought MAYBE that was the problem. I looked for the other copper ring, found it. So I took the wheel off again and I attached the second copper ring as well. Bled the brakes and the pedal got nice and stiff. I put the wheel back on and went for a little test drive and now the brake is softer than before, what gives?

Bleeding brakes takes some time. You likely have air in your lines that's causing this to happen and you'll only ever feel it when you start driving and there's vaccum in the system. I suggest reverse bleeding from the caliper up to the tank for best results. You can use this tool if you want to do this every 2 years properly or just pay someone http://promos.brakebleeder.com/stacey-d ... h-bleeder/

How about without the tool though? How long would it take to properly bleed them?

I loosened the little screw on the caliper and it began to drip a little. I had my friend push the brake pedal down about 4-5x so it can start squirting out some brake fluid from the screw. After that I tightened the screw because the pedal was stiff. Put the wheel on, started the car and the second I stepped on the brake it was a sponge.

What did I do wrong in this situation?
